KORCZAK's YARD follows the idea of Janusz Korczak: the performance looks at the life throught child's eyes. Adult actors talk using pure, simple language. They sing, complain, ask - they try to discover the truth about themselves and the World. The plot is based on real facts from the Warsaw ghetto, put into dialogues in the yard-style: from laughter and unconcerned conversations to serious philosophy, conflicts and tears. The funny and entertaining scenes are separated by reflective monologues from Korczak's Diary (1939-1942). The life music in the performance plays special part. The drama is meant to adults and teenagers.
